My Outsourced Life

Last month, I was invited by The University of Arizona’s Professor Amar Gupta to speak to students of his Outsourcing of Professional Activities class and share with them my experiences with professional outsourcing and off-shoring.

After a 25-year association with MIT, Professor Amar Gupta moved in summer of 2004 to University of Arizona in Tucson as Thomas R. Brown Chair of Management and Technology; Professor of Entrepreneurship, Management and Organizations and MIS; and Senior Director for Research and Business Development. Professor Gupta also served as Visiting Professor, College of Engineering, MIT, for part of 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008.

You can see why I was honored and excited to be asked to serve as a guest speaker by Dr. Gupta to one of his classes. Now with special thanks to my TruckItNow colleague Collin Crowley who video taped my lecture, you can also learn from my experiences. Enjoy!
